Ennis Safety, Security & Consulting Group, based in Kentville, Nova Scotia, first started in 1998 as Valley Armoured Car Service Limited. Initially it was created as an innovative answer to the growing demand of the local business community, to provide local armoured car service at an affordable price.
From its inception Valley Armoured Car Service Limited has serviced many well-known businesses and organizations such as: Access Nova Scotia, Nova Scotia Department of Justice, Western Nova Scotia District Health Authorities and Michelin North America. Additionally, Valley Armoured Car Service Limited has worked as a front line service provider with white label automated teller machines.
In 2004 the company expanded by adding another service division – Annapolis Valley Guard Services Limited, to address the need for trained security professionals in Atlantic Canada. Since expanding, we have been providing security services to the Annapolis Valley First Nations, District Health Authorities, long term care facilities, Office of the Fire Marshal, and numerous private firms.
Envisioning the demand for these services in a broader community, the company changed its name to Ennis Safety, Security & Consulting Group in 2011.
2013 has been another milestone for the company. Seeing the growing emphasis for safety in the workplace, Ennis Safety, Security & Consulting Group created a Safety Services Division. This division focuses on providing clients with on-site, client/workplace tailored occupational health and safety training, program development, and consulting.
A wide array of occupational health and safety services are available provided by experienced and professional OH&S consultants.
The company logo “Skill is our Strength” holds testament to the quality of services provided to its many clients. Staff are well trained in all aspects of their duties before commencing any assignment. One of the most obvious reasons for the success of Ennis Safety, Security & Consulting Group is the progressive and personal approach in meeting the needs of clients. The owner, Sean Ennis, is not only a hands-on participant in the day to day operations, but is also available, day or night to meet with clients. Meeting the needs of clients in a timely and professional manner is paramount.
