Sean Ennis

CEO/General Manager
Sean Ennis is the sole owner of ENNIS Security Services. It was his vision in 1997 to address the armoured car needs in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia. His determination and hard work has helped him in the evolution of the company to now include not only a successful Armoured Car division, but also a highly experienced guard division. ENNIS Security Services is the sole security provider for the AVDHA and SWNDHA.

Sean has hands on experience working as a program assistant at the King’s Regional Rehabilitation Centre as well as security for Casino Nova Scotia. These experiences have enabled him to better understand the role of a security guard. This understanding allows him to work effectively as a company leader.

Sean has been directly accessible when a member of the management of the District Health Authorities has had a concern, a question, or required urgent assistance. His level of commitment to client satisfaction is unsurpassed in the industry.

Sean is community minded and generously gives his time and financial support to organizations in need.

Sean is a Master Trainer for the Non Violent Crisis Intervention and has developed "The Crisis Intervention Training Program". He holds a Police Pistol Instructor Course from the Nova Scotia Department of Justice (Policing and Victim Services). He has successfully completed the Use of Force and Firearms Proficiency Program for Authorization to carry from the Justice Learning Centre. Additional certifications are as follows:

Wanda Balsor

Ennis Safety, Security & Consulting Group Manager, Certified OH&S Consultant
Wanda Balsor is a Certified Health & Safety Consultant, Health & Safety Professional Designation, Certified in Management, and Certified in Professional Management. She has an Occupational Health & Safety Certificate from Ryerson University and a Certificate in Adult Education from Dalhousie University.

Wanda has senior management experience working in industrial, manufacturing, construction, ventilation, refrigeration, electrical, food processing, security, and various trades: and has over twenty years of experience working within the health & safety field, as a training instructor, developing health and safety programs and systems for organizations.

With her education and ability, she is able to assist companies to improve their safety programs to achieve certification in safety. Wanda is an executive member of the Canadian Safety Society of Engineering, and an executive board member of the Canadian Institute of Management working closely with external organizations such as Canadian Safety Society of Engineering, Workers Compensation and Department of labour Nova Scotia. She is aware of the requirements to help companies become certified in health & safety.

Bob Neilson

Occupational Health & Safety Consultant
Bob Neilson has over 25 years of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) experience in the Agricultural sector. He has extensive experience in Emergency Management, OHS and Environmental Auditing, and the development of OHS learning modules. He earned his Certificate in Adult Education from Dalhousie University and his OHS Professional Certificate from Ryerson University awarded in partnership with the Nova Scotia Safety Council. He is also a member of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering. With his education and ability, he was able to develop Corporate OHS Core Learning Programs within the federal government sector and assist senior managers with OHS leadership activities. He has extensive experience as an OHS facilitator, and developing hazard assessment tools within hazard prevention programs.
