Confined Space Awareness
Whenever there is a confined space at a workplace, all workers should receive Confined Space Awareness Training. This awareness course will provide participants with an understanding of what a confined space is, the hazards associated with confined spaces, protective measures required for working safely in and around confined spaces, and the requirement for a Confined Space Program. This course does not replace or eliminate the requirement for employer workplace specific training.

Canada Labour Code Part II
This course will provide participants with an understanding of how the Canada Labour Code, Part II and the Canada Occupational Health and Safety Regulations apply to organizations that operate under federal jurisdiction.

Fall Protection Awareness
This awareness course will provide participants with an understanding of the regulation regarding fall protection and its application to the workplace. Topics include: the importance of fall protection; the components of a fall protection system; procedures for inspection, storage, and maintenance of equipment; and the importance of a fall protection program. This course does not replace or eliminate the requirement for employer workplace specific training.

Crisis Intervention: Defusing Anger, Resistance and Hostility
This course is designed to equip the participant with the tools and knowledge to enable them to interact with an individual who may be experiencing a crisis. Individuals in crisis often respond to a sense of helplessness and loss of control through withdrawal, depression, attempted suicide, or overtly through angry outbursts and/or violent attacks.
Participants will learn how to respond to these individuals through enhanced personal awareness, appropriate verbal interventions and active disengaging skills. Principles of empowerment, clarity and coalition are emphasized.

Code White: Responding to Aggressive/Violent Behavior
This course focuses on a team intervention response to a situation in which an individual (customer/client/patient) is behaving in a potentially dangerous/aggressive manner towards themselves or others and the situation is escalating or has the potential for escalating beyond the abilities of the person dealing with the situation.
Covered in the course are topics such as: principles of team intervention; hands on practice in physical containment and team restraint with proper body mechanics; experience training in simulated scenarios; and safe management of violent and assaultive behaviour.

Fatigue Management
Fatigue is more prevalent in the workplace than one would expect and is often misunderstood with feeling tired or drowsy. Topics covered in this course include: definition of fatigue; causes/factors contributing to fatigue; effects of fatigue; hazards and consequences of fatigue; and assessing and controlling fatigue hazards. The Roles and Responsibilities of Management and Employees are also discussed.

Emergency First Aid & CPR
Participants gain hands on knowledge of basic First Aid & CPR techniques applicable to the workplace and any environment. Topics covered include: recognizing and responding to cardiovascular emergencies for adults; CPR; the A,B,C’s of First Aid – Airway, Breathing, and Circulation; and much more.

Course duration: 4 hours
Standard First Aid, CPR & AED
This course provides more enhanced First Aid & CPR techniques for those who require more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace. Topics covered include: Emergency First Aid / CPR; scene safety; prevention of disease transmission; more severe sudden medical emergencies and injuries.

Standard First Aid & CPR Recertification
Course duration: 8 hours
Automated External Defibrillator
Participants will be provided training on the proper method and correct procedures of the use of an AED machine. CPR training is a prerequisite for this course.

First-Aid & CPR for Health Care Providers
This course is specifically designed for the health care professional. The course is designed to meet industry, business and government requirements and provides comprehensive techniques for those who want or need more knowledge in responding to emergencies. Topics covered include all material in the Standard First Aid course plus: all levels of CPR and artificial respiration; use of AED, and use of Bag Valve Mask.
